Of radiating floral and articulated design, set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, enhanced with carved rubies and ruby beads inset with single-cut diamonds, unsigned.
Condition Report:
Unsigned. Rubies purplish-red with typical surface-reaching inclusions, some with resultant cavities, nicks and scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total approximately 1.80 - 2.50 carats, bright and lively. One articulated diamond motif around outer edge is a later replacement. Some areas of solder to reverse. Overall in good condition. Scroll motifs on outer edge of brooch are articulated. With clip and brooch fitting. Diameter approximately 42mm. Gross weight approximately 33.6 grams.
