A ruby cabochon and vari-cut diamond cluster ring.
Ruby calculated weight 10cts, based on estimated dimensions of 13.1 by 8.8 by 8.1mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 3.15cts, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity.
Ring size I1/2. 13.7gms.
Condition Report:
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Two brilliant-cut diamonds with minor nicks at the girdle.
Ruby appears a deep slightly purplish red.
Many inclusions, some affecting the passage of light through the gem, including iron oxide or similar staining and nicks toward the edge of the cabochon.
Length of ring head 2.4cms.
