(Illinois/Tennessee, 1879-1950) Oil on board titled "Patterns of the Mist." Autumn impressionist landscape signed lower left and also with a plaque in the frame giving title of the work. Housed in a handsome silver gilt frame. Small scuff to lower left canvas. No apparent restoration the piece has original gallery and artist labels on verso. H40" W37 1/2" (not including the frame) Sold from the collection of a Hilton Head, South Carolina couple.
