An exceptional pair of Victorian diamond lever back drop earrings, in 14K gold and sterling silver, Russia, Circa 1870s-1900s.; These beautiful dangle earrings have been expertly crafted out of 14 karat yellow gold and sterling silver and set with a total of 18 diamonds measuring, approximately, 2.26 carats. The primary gems are round old European cut diamonds each, 0.82 carats, both with very good color (E-G) and clarity (VS). They are each complemented by 8 rose-cut diamonds ranging in size from 0.01 carats - 0.20 carats all with very good color (E-G) and clarity (VVS-SI).; The dangle earrings are both in excellent antique condition showing expected signs of wear. They have only been lightly cleaned to maintain their look. They weigh, approximately, 5.97 grams together and each measure 1.57 inches (4 cm) long by 0.43 inches (1.1 cm) wide. They are not hallmarked but tested positive for 14Kt gold (56 Zolotniks).
