Russian trinket jewel box egg, inspired by the original 1885 Royal Blue Ribbed egg by Carl Faberge, created for the Russian Royal family. Hand-painted enamel & gilt over pewter with embedded Austrian crystals, permanently attached to a gilt footed stand, with a tiny crown at top. Top lifts on a hinge to reveal a hidden swirled enamel compartment for trinkets of jewels, with magnetic closure. 3 1/4" H X 1 3/4" D. Comes with gift box.
