The circular brooch centered with a gold, gem-set Imperial double-headed eagle within a border set with diamonds and pearls, suspending a circular watch, the case applied with the diamond-set initials Latin MS beneath a diamond-set coronet, with the original box. The watch numbered 50748, the works number 75243, brooch struck with initials E.H., probably for Eduard Helenius.
The original heraldry of the Imperial Warrant is enriched by meticulous, curved engraving on this handsome timepiece. The gleaming gold and platinum surface against a gleaming white dial epitomize old world glamour.
