Russian Samovar by Batashev, Tula City
This is an exceptional brass Russian Samovar from the 1800's. There are several hallmarks on the lid and across the body of the samovar. It was made by the Batashev Brothers in Tula City, according to the hallmark on the lid.
Samovars were traditionally used to heat and boil water in Russia.
