Russian, 19th Century. An icon of Christ Pantocrator, tempera on wood panel, with silver oklad with 84 standard silver mark and dated 1867; 8 3/4" x 7". Together with an icon of the Theotokos and the Body of Christ (Epitaphios), painted wood panel; 12 1/2" x 9". Condition: the Pantocrator with craquelure; the painted panel with losses to corners, scuffing, scattered wormholes. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
