An early 20th century French three piece clock set by Samuel Marti et Cie, Paris. 8-day time and strike movement with porcelain dial, Arabic numerals and painted floral swags, serial #434. Louis XVI style patinated Spelter case features a Guardian Angel holding a tablet reading "Pasteur Raphael Gounod" on a rocky outcropping with allegorical Arts and Industry accoutrements, includes pair of matching two handle vases with floral garlands and medallion detail.
