S & W Cut Glass Salt Pepper, Gary Set, Gorham 18k Gold Tops

This beautiful English cut glass salt and pepper set of shakers has rock crystal cutting and is signed by Hall. It has 18k gold tops by Gorham. This very large dining set was produced by Stevens & Williams and several rock crystal master cutters worked on these pieces. As a result, the different pieces were signed by several different engravers. This set is signed by Hall.

This is part of the well known set special ordered by Tiffany & Co. for E. H. Gary. Gary was the first president of U.S. Steel This set has a mongrammed G on one panel for Gary. Both of the shakers are cut with four panels. The panels have dragons and floral designs. Circa 1900
