Fine S.A. dagger with leather hanger and clip, 8.75 in blade, 13.75 overall, brown wood grip inset with S.A runes button of unblemished enamel, and an eagle and swastika device, both of which are perfectly fitted. The wood of the grip itself bears just a few tiny dings, and the cross guards still retain a good edge, but have a little bit of corrosion where they meet the wood grip. The blade is etched with the motto of the organization: ‘Alles fur Deutschland' (‘All for Germany') bears moderate running marks but no chipping or edge wear, while verso is bears the ‘RZM M7/85' approval stamp indicating the dagger was made by Pumawerke. The brown scabbard bears original paint and fits perfectly, with all the nickel screws in place, no dents or dings and only a few tiny surface scratches, while ‘ball' termination bears some denting. With the original leather strap with fully operational clip appropriately stamped ‘RZM M5/8'. Leather bears some wear but is intact. Overall a near fine piece.
