SA Dagger by Malsch & Ambronn, Steinbach.

Offered is a good example of Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern, enlisted mans dagger with scabbard. Features mid brown wood grip, showing light wear, which fit the cross guards well, retaining both nickel eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Cross guards are correct nickel type. The Malsch & Ambronn of Steinbach maker marked blade with motto Alles fur Deutschland (All for Germany), with some black finish remaining to motto & majority to maker trademark. Blade with light wear overall, but generally very good. 2nd pattern scabbard retains nickel plated throat & chape, with original finish, showing wear. Overall a good condition dagger, from a not often seen maker. Is maker marked with the Malsch & Ambronn, Steinbach hearth and steelworker insignia on the reverse ricasso, scattered nicks on the blade edges.***THIS ITEM SHIPS FROM OUR EUROPE OFFICE***
