SA-WEHRMANNSCHAFTEN ARM BAND WITH RZM TAG - GERMANY, THIRD REICH

An armband of the SA-Wehrmannschaften, units associated with military and athletic training conducted by the Sturmabteilung (SA).
Made of red fabric, with a sewn-on white oval patch bearing the SA-Wehrabzeichen emblem: a sword against a swastika background, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves. The emblem is woven, golden-brown in color, with a darker outline.
On the inside, a paper RZM tag is preserved, bearing the inscription “Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP,” the manufacturer’s mark “A4 8/1743,” and the number “016661.”
- Condition: tears and missing sections of red fabric, fraying, localized soiling, and discoloration. Damage to the lower side of the white field of the emblem. Paper tag preserved.
