A note accompanying this work indicates that the artist lived in Room A of Barrack number 1, Block 16 of the camp. The source of that information is not known. The fact that Sadayuki Uno and his family were interned in Rohwer War Relocation Center from June 1944 until November 1945 has been confirmed.
