Octagonal Shellwork Sailor's Valentine, set in a two-sided hinged wooden glass-fronted case filled with artfully arranged seashells, left side centered with a tintype standing portrait of a Victorian lady, right side of a standing gent, closed: 2 5/8" high, 8 7/8" x 8 7/8", open: 18" wide. A few loose seashells, one piece of edge molding missing.
