Folk Art Double Sided Sailor's Valentine, in 19th c. hinged octagonal wooden case, each side containing groups of artfully arranged seashells displayed under glass, one side with a heart-shaped center, other side with flower within a six-pointed star, each side: 9 3/4" x 9 7/8"; 20 3/4" overall width, closed: 3" high. A few exterior case scratches and small gouge near hasp, otherwise good condition.
