Hallmarks: 1) CONTROLLE DE ST GERMAIN LAYE / 1730 / coat of arms of France, 2) crowned hammer / L C / F, Louis-François CANTELLE, master craftsman in 1712, 3) on the goblet: crowned coat of arms of France / TRIEL (EdP p.300); initials S D on the inner bottom. First half of the 18th century. A superb specimen, perfectly hallmarked.
