SALT GLAZED STONEWARE VASE CONVERETED TO A TABLE LAMP Height of ceramic: 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.)
SALT GLAZED STONEWARE VASE CONVERETED TO A TABLE LAMP
relief molded with three faces of a bearded gentleman, possibly Doulton Lambeth
Dimensions: Height of ceramic: 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.)
Condition: In my opinion, the photo shows the upper section as much paler and possibly restored, but this is incorrect. Under blacklight, the upper section does not fluoresce. There are a few small firing cracks and some small glaze losses to raised horizontal bars. The vase is drilled for electricity. Piece does not appear under black light to have lost a spout or handles.
