Luxurious binding, in reddish-brown chagrin with gilt tooling on the front board and the spine. The endpapers are in hand-painted paper, made intentionally for this copy, of great technical execution. It contains, pasted on the book’s endpaper, a large ex libris of Queen Helena of Italy, with her arms decorated with a Savoyard cord around them. On the cover and the inner endpapers there is gilt tooling all around the edge of the book.
There are 20 articles of the greatest interest for European religious history, including the Franciscans and Dominicans.
Work printed on high-grammage paper, thick and very sonorous. This copy is no. 3 belonging to H.M. Victor Emmanuel III King of Italy.
It has a label (no. XI. 5-13) at the base of the spine of this copy from the Private Library of the Queen, which was in the Palace of Raconnigi (Italy).

Les gardes sont en papier peint à la main, réalisé intentionnellement pour cet exemplaire, d’une grande maîtrise technique. Il contient, collé sur la garde du livre, un grand ex-libris de la Reine Helena d’Italie, avec ses armoiries décorées d’un cordon savoyard tout autour. Sur la couverture et sur les gardes intérieures se trouve un fer doré sur tout le pourtour du livre.
On y trouve 20 articles du plus grand intérêt pour l’histoire religieuse européenne, y compris les franciscains et les dominicains.
Ouvrage imprimé sur papier de grammage supérieur, épais et très sonore. Cet exemplaire est le nº 3 appartenant à S.M. Victor Emmanuel III Roi d’Italie.
Il porte une étiquette (nº XI. 5-13) à la base du dos de cet exemplaire de la Bibliothèque Privée de la Reine, qui se trouvait au Palais de Raconnigi (Italie).
