SANG DE BOEUF - VASE (so-called oxblood vase), China, unmarked. Baluster shape with a recessed and profiled shoulder and long neck; oxblood-coloured glaze. The deep red colour first appeared on Chinese porcelain at the beginning of the 18th century. H. 31 cm; D. 22 cm. (crackle).

Die tiefrote Farbe kommt erstmals zu Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts beim chinesischen Porzellan vor. H. 31 cm; D. 22 cm. (Krakelee).
