One ring set with an oval sapphire, within a double-tiered surround of brilliant-cut and tapered baguette diamonds; and the other ring set with an oval ruby, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds.

Condition Report:
Both rings in very good condition. Signs of normal wear to the yellow mounting, stamped 750 for 18 karat yellow gold. Signs of very minor wear to the white mounting, stamped 750 for 18 karat white gold and 1.00 referring to the total weight of the diamonds. Diamond weight stated in the catalogue description approximated using measurements. Sapphire is of medium deep tone, blue colour and medium saturation; ruby is of medium pinkish red colour and medium-strong saturation; both with minor typical inclusions and a few minor chips. Diamonds on sapphire and ruby rings are about G-H colour, VS clarity, and F-G colour, mainly SI clarity respectively, as graded in the mounting. Accompanied by ICA GemLab reports no. 151339, dated 6 August 2020, stating that the 3.32 carat sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by ICA GemLab report no. 150782, dated 13 May 2020, stating that the 1.26 carat ruby with no indications of heating. Please refer to the reports for further details.
