Claw-set with an oval sapphire weighing 4.00 carats, the surround and shoulders set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size M1/2, British hallmarks and sponsor's mark.

Condition Report:
[Accompanied by IGITL report no. IGITL/B6981/7751, dated 22nd November 2010, stating that the sapphire weighing 4.00 carats is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating.

Stamped with British hallmarks for Birmingham, 18 carat gold, sponsor's mark XM. Sapphire violetish blue, small typical inclusions visible to naked eye, some minor areas of rubbing to facet edges. Diamonds stated to weigh 0.60 carats in total, stated clarity VS. Gross weight approximately 5 grams. Condition as new.]
