Shank stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold, French maker's mark SM with backpack for Ségo, 50 rue de Temple, 75003 Paris. Sapphire measuring approximately 13.0 x 9.0 x 6.8mm, calculated to weigh approximately 6.37 carats. Very minor chipping to areas of facet edges, otherwise in good condition. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.90 - 1.20 carats. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 7.2 grams.
