SAVAGE MODEL 6A SEMI-AUTO .22 RIFLE

NSN. BARREL 24". CALIBER .22 RIM FIRE. The Savage Model 6A was Manufactured between the years 1938-1944. It is a semi-automatic , tube fed, with blue finish and checkered pistol grip walnut stock. The front sight is a dovetail bead with folding leaf replaced rear sight. These rifles, when found, are usually beat. This example is in excellent condition. The rifling is still sharp. The metal retains about 80% plus original blue with a few light freckles and some toning on barrel. The stock is excellent with sharp checkered wrist and just a few handling marks and little plug on wrist (from sight?) . Way above average for this scarce .22 rifle. C&R
