SCARCE STEVENS US MODEL 620 RIOT SHOTGUN

SERIAL 18844. BARREL 20". CALIBER 12. CHOKE -CYL. CHAMBER 2 3/4". These US marked riot guns were made during the Second World War. Most were used to guard important places such as plants and guard duty. This example did not see heavy use as it still retains at least 90% of the factory blue finish with minor high edge and storage / handling wear. The left side of frame is stamped Model 620 with Proof P and ordnance bomb and US. Left side of barrel at breech is stamped P with bomb. Stevens name and address on left side of barrel. Plain barrel has single bead. The plain pistol grip butt is excellent as is the fore-arm. Shot gun is really nice. Bore is clean. Action is perfect. Wood has minor impressions.
