Antique Albert Schoenhut & Company 1872-1935 Bent Limbed Wood Doll made c. 1911. Good condition, minor wear. On original stand with original shoes, factory holes in shoes and feet to place on stand. Albert Schoenhut was a third generation wood carver born in Germany, who established his toy factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1872. Known for making wood toys and dolls of which a toy piano was his first. Measures 15". Weight 1 pd 6 oz. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate.
