Antique Albert Schoenhut & Company 1872-1935 Bent Limbed Wood Doll made c. 1913. Good condition, minor wear. Albert Schoenhut was a third generation wood carver born in Germany, who established his toy factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1872. Known for making wood toys and dolls of which a toy piano was his first. Measures 17". Weight 2 pds. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate.
