20th c., in 19th c. style, having a slave theme, one side with whipping scene captioned "Slaves of Patagonia", the other "Freemen in Jamaca?" (sic), the edge inscribed "Eliza Adams, Ship Outward Bound - Rerigged Kingston", on rotating teak museum stand. 7" tooth, 8 3/4" x 6" diam. overall. Fine condition, one resin filled shrinkage crack. PROVENANCE: Includes Sept 1980 receipt from Ye Olde Ship Store in Kauai, Hawaii, indicating this was from the collection of Richard A. Calhoun, signed by Fred von Wiegen.
