SCULPTURE - STANDING DEITY

SCULPTURE: Deity on a lotus base - probably a variant of Guanyin or Kannon, Asia, cast bronze. Silver and gold-coloured patina, with leaf mark under the stand. Standing figure with raised left hand (karana mudra), on an octagonal moulded base with lotus blossoms. Behind the figure an open-worked flame mandorla with 5 figures, some with musical instruments. H. 51.2 x W.19 x D. 18 cm. (Partially rubbed).

SKULPTUR: Gottheit auf Lotussockel - wohl Variante der Guanyin oder Kannon, Asien, Bronzeguss. silberfarben und goldfarben patiniert, unter dem Stand mit Blattpunze. Stehende Figur mit erhobener linken Hand (Karana Mudra), auf achteckigem profiliertem Sockel mit Lotosblüten. Hinter der Figur eine durchbrochen gearbeitete Flammen-Mandorla mit 5 Figuren, teils mit Musikinstrumenten. H. 51,2 x B.19 x T. 18 cm. (Partiell berieben).
