Tulipwood in veneer, inlaid with cartouches. Hinged writing surface, the inside with gold-stamped red leather, over a compartment with double-doors. Fitted interior with 2 central compartments with 3 drawers on each side, and 3 large compartments arranged in 2 rows on top. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Shaped "Brèche d'Alep" marble top.
