Mahogany. Rectangular body, front with drawer over hinged writing surface and double-doors. The writing surface, lined on the inside with gold-embossed black leather. Fitted interior with four compartments and six drawers, later. Fine gilt bronze mounts. Escutcheons, decorated with laurel wreaths and bows, handles designed as laurel wreaths. White, grey veined marble top. 1 key.
