Louis XVI, some signed C. SENE (Claude II Sené, maître1769) and N. BAUDIN (Noel Baudin, maître 1763), Paris ca. 1770.

Fluted beech, exquisitely carved with meander band, rosettes, foliage and decorative frieze. Curved seat. Flat medallion backrest with padded armrests on curved arm supports. Striped, pale yellow silk cover patterned with flowers, leaves and decorative frieze. Slight differences between the chairs.
