Comprising: - Hunting dagger, 18th century.Chiselled iron and bone mountings.Urn-shaped pommel and shield-shaped guard.Guard featuring a rectangular cartouche and two small straight quillons.Carved bone tang with ferrule.Straight blade, chiselled at the heel with the initials ‘AR’ beneath a closed crown.Leather scabbard with two trimmings (additional tip).Date: late 18th century.Total length: 60 cm – Ebony and steel mountings.Turned ebony hilt.Body knot in the shape of a wild boar, from which emerge two small quillons in the shape of dog’s heads.Straight blade with two fuller grooves.Leather scabbard with two brass fittings.Date: mid-19th century.Total length: 60 cmExpert: Alban Degrave.
