A narrow polychrome border, framed by two counter-borders, encircles the composition. Central Persia, circa 1950–1980, 212 x 138 cm (frayed).- Keschancarpet with cotton warp and weft, wool pile. The carpet is adorned with a plain red, multi-lobed mihrab, topped by two columns and a hanging lamp against a navy blue background, with a polychrome floral design.
