SET OF TWO WWII NAZI GERMAN TYPE MOTHERS CROSSES

A set of two WWII Nazi German type Mothers Crosses in bronze. Each features a slender elongated form of the Iron Cross and is very similar in design to the Marian Cross of the Teutonic Order, enameled translucent blue with a slim opaque white border. Resting on the center radiant starburst rays is a metal roundel decorated with the words To The German Mother in German around an enameled black straight centered swastika symbol, infilled white enamel. It is inscribed to the back with the date December 16th, 1938 and engraved with the Hitlers signature. Completed with blue and white ribbons. Condition Report: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. The ribbons are frayed. Some scratches on the enamel. One medal has a chip in the bottom corner. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
