SEVENTY-FOUR PIECES OF CHRISTOFLE "TALISMAN" FLATWARE
French, 1986 design, plated and enameled silver. Seventy-four (74) total pieces in red, green, black, and blue cloisonne with Art Deco style gilt decoration: sixteen each of dinner knives, dinner spoons, dessert spoons, and dinner forks (64); as well as a carving knife, two (2) serving spoons, four (4) dessert forks, a butter knife, a fish fork, and a pickle fork. All hallmarked.
Condition Report: One blue enameled dinner knife with a very small loss at the tip of the handle off the point of the decoration (very small loss and minor). One black enameled dinner fork with black enamel loss at the tip of the handle in several small spots. One green enamel tea spoon with the tip of the HANDLE a bit mangled possibly from garbage disposal. Another green enamel tea spoon with the SPOON end likely having hit garbage disposal. One orange enamel tea spoon with handle tip a bit mangled likely from garbage disposal. One black enamel tea spoon with 3 small enamel loss areas-two at the tip on the backside and one smaller area on the shaft to front side (minor issue). One green enamel dinner fork with a small 'burr' on the outsie right tine a half inch from the tip.
