SEVRES STYLE GILT-BRONZE-MOUNTED COVERED POTPOURRI VASE, 19TH CENTURY
the vase of ovoid form with oval panel to front side with reclining woman in classical garb with a putto near her head and a temple in background, all within an oval gilt band with pale blue row of small beads, the reverse with an oval cartouche with roses, musical instruments and trophies in gilt oval panel, all reserved on a cobalt blue ground with gilt scrollwork, the high domed cover with a band of flowers within gilt and blue dotted bands, all mounted in a good gilt-bronze pedestal base with maiden's head and twined handles, with pierced band around rim of vase, the cover with pineapple finial
Dimensions: Height: 11 1/2 in. (29.2 cm.)

Condition: Some repaint to gilt rims of cover. Wear to enamels but basically in good condition.
