A soft-paste porcelain cup and saucer, with a polychrome decoration of a pheasant and a partridge in medallions against a lapis blue background. The reserved areas and borders feature raised gilded decoration of foliage and festoons.Marked on the reverse with interlaced ‘LL’s and the letter-date ‘K’ for 1763, and the mark of the painter François-Joseph Aloncle (1734–1781).Height: 6 cm – Diameter: 13 cm.(Signs of wear)Also included is a goblet of the same design, decorated with a floral scene by the Rousseau manufactory. (Some wear to the decoration; sold as is).
