SHABTI FOR TOTH-IRDIS

Description: A green turquoise faience shabti, wearing striated tripartite wig and false beard, holding pick and hoe, seed bag over left shoulder. Nine horizontal bands of hieroglyphs reading: "O thou Uschebti if somebody inspeet the great of Ptah, Thot-irdis, the luminate, the great of the five of Toth, Toth-irdis, the luminate, born of the mistress of the house, Tadi-Amun, the luminate, be adjudged to perform any kind of work which is to be done in the underworld.| Egypt. 27th Dynasty. 525-401 B.C.

Condition: Intact. Very fine condition. Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate. For reasons of data protection, when the provenance of the pieces is private collections, only the initials of the particular collectors are shown, the complete information of these collections will be delivered to the buyer in the authenticity certificate. |The piece includes Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union) - If the piece is destined outside the European Union a substitution of the export permit should be requested and an export fee must be paid ( see terms and conditions ).
