FIRST EDITION, second state, of the prospectus for the 1914-1916 expedition, without the information about John King Davis, who was originally included as the Captain of Endurance before he declined the offer to join the project. Includes details of the ships, the expedition's members, its finances, expert opinions and press tributes, along with various mission statements.
