Japanese occupation stamp of 1943 converting to 5.000 Dollars of their Japanese controlled Central Reserve Bank currency. The company served 'the Shanghai Settlement, known as the Foreign Community of Shanghai North of the Yangkingpang'. The Power Company used Japanese and Manchurian coal. According to one source, this was the largest power station in the world at that time.
