Painted wood with mahogany deck and coppered hull, full sails set, mounted on stand. 41" x 49" x 8", fine condition.Per Wiki: "America was a 19th-century racing yacht and first winner of the America's Cup international sailing trophy. On August 22, 1851, America won the Royal Yacht Squadron's 53-mile regatta around the Isle of Wight by 18 minutes. "Built by George Steers & Co for $30,000, launched in May of 1851.
