BOWLING STERLING SILVER PRESENTATION / TROPHY CUP, semi-ovoid bowl with three applied double-scrolled handles, raised on a stemmed round foot, featuring relief Art Nouveau decoration of water lilies and lily pads, sides with three different engravings comprising a vignette of a bowling ball and two crossed pins, an "R" initial, and a presentation engraving of "From the / Echo Bowling Club / June 3rd 1903." Base impressed with maker's mark, "STERLING", and "1 1/4 PINTS". Total weight: 9.780 ozt. Shreve & Co., San Francisco, CA. Early 20th century. 8" HOA, 4 1/2" D rim.
