Rabbi David Bornstein, son of Rabbi Shmuel - Rebbe of Sochaczev and author of Shem Mishmuel. Disciple of his grandfather, the author of Avnei Nezer of Sochaczev. Rabbi of Vishagrad (1908), where he established a large Yeshiva, and appointed successor to his father in 1926. Leading member of Agudas Harabanim, and of Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisrael.
