A Thomas Hart Benton (1889-1975) whimsical pen sketch on his personal letterhead (10.5 x 7.5 inches), drawn and given in gratitude to his patrons for their gift of wine. The sketch depicts Tom at a table drinking a seemingly endless line of wine bottles. As the bottles grow smaller and more distant, they mimic snow curling in the wind. Inscribed by Benton "Greetings of the Season. Trying to keep up. Tom & Rita". Presented in frame, 11 x 8.5 inches.

Condition: Light liquid staining along the bottom of the letterhead.
