This Parisian silver footed tea service, complete with tray and detachable finials is adorned with intricate acanthus leaf motif, and exudes timeless beauty and sophistication. All items bearing the maker's mark "VB," with a crescent and two stars enclosed within a diamond-shaped cartouche, along with a French Made - Export pictorial purity mark in the first standard depicting Mercury. Accompanied by a French Alphonse Debain .950 silver vessel with shell handles - bearing the maker's mark "AD" with a central woodcock (une becasse) enclosed within a diamond-shaped cartouche, along with a French Made - Export pictorial purity mark in the first standard depicting Mercury. The total approx. weight of all items is 322.34 troy oz (gross). Dimensions: tray measures approx. 29.25" w (including handles) x 20" d.
Condition Report: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. This five piece tea service and tray bear a matching monogram. Teapot is fitted with subsequently added plastic spacers.
