Additionally inscribed, The Mask Sepia, on the backside. Simon Avissar, the painter, was born in Morocco in 1948. Simon moved to U.S.A. He worked for 14 years in Paris. Education: 1959 to 1960 Paris, arts appliques; 1959 to 1961 Beaux Arts, Paris; 1962 to 1963 Bezalel, Jerusalem. His works range from pure abstract expressionist painting to figurative expressionism to an almost Surrealist calligraphic abstraction. One of a kind artwork.
