SIOUX BEADED HIDE DRESS, C. 1880. Comprising a good legitimate sinew-sewn hide dress with impressive fully beaded yoke in geometrical patterns, lazy-stitched on a predominately greasy yellow field with fringed sleeves and hem, with beaded hide tassel drops and the hem with sequins. Some losses, but a true authentic 19th century example. From collar to tasseled hem is 48 inches, from cuff to cuff, as shown, 46 inches.
