Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Oil on stable panel. The surface presents well and appears fresh. A barely perceptible 4 inch diagonal surface scratch is in the red of the bridge at center. A very few isolated, tiny pin dot varnish scuffs. A small area of abrasion on the boy's red costume. Minor, faint frame abrasion visible at center left and right and left lower edges and upper right corner. Under UV: heavy varnish fluoresces green. Inpainting to the aforementioned surface scratch; a 2 1/4 inch '1' shaped repair at center left; and a 1 1/2 inch horizontal repair at upper left; and a sideways 'U' shaped older repair extending from upper left corner (partially visible to the naked eye). There are a few fine dashes of inpainting in a diagonal formation and what appears to older dashes of inpainting in the red of the bridge. Additional isolated, very few pin dots and dashes of inpainting. Inpainting to aforementioned abrasion at center left edge and in lower left and upper right corners.

Condition Report:
