SIX RED CHINESE IMPORT STAMP PORCELAIN PLATES 8"

Set of six Chinese porcelain plates decorated with finely rendered polychrome figural garden scenes depicting elegant women in traditional dress within landscapes of flowering trees, pavilions, distant mountains, birds, and garden architecture. Each plate is formed with a molded fluted border and finished with a rich iron-red scalloped rim. The decoration is executed in a palette of iron red, blue, green, aubergine, black, and gilt-toned accents over a white porcelain body. Each plate bears a red square seal-style (Xing) mark to the reverse. The character is a traditional Chinese commendation or auspicious mark associated with flourishing, prosperity, and exaltation. The uniform decoration, molded borders, and stamped reverse marks are consistent with 20th-century Chinese export and decorative porcelain production. | APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: Approximately 8" diameter each. | CATALOG ID: JO10022026, RACK , SHELF | SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Items are available for pickup at our Palm Beach Gardens location unless otherwise noted.
